Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Receipt Converter, operated by Receipt Converter Shop. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. About the Service

Receipt Converter is an online tool that scans paper receipts and exports merchant names, line items, VAT, and totals to structured files. We offer free and paid subscription plans.

2. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Using the service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any law.
• Uploading content you do not have the right to use.
• Attempting to interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or networks.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or scraping any part of the service.
• Circumventing plan limits or security measures.

4. Intellectual Property

Receipt Converter Shop retains all ownership and intellectual property rights in the service, software, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the limits of your selected plan.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. For payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics, please refer to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

6. Service Level

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times. Receipt extraction accuracy depends on image quality, handwriting, and receipt format. You should review exported data before relying on it for tax or accounting purposes.

7. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or create a security risk. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your data may be retained for a short period in accordance with our Privacy Notice, then deleted.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Receipt Converter Shop will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the six months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Metro Manila, Philippines.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
